Description

The Applications Unlimited Sales Intern – Africa and Turkey role at Oracle is a 12-month program based in Woodmead, Johannesburg, starting on 1 April 2025. This internship is designed for graduates who have not previously held a permanent role for more than 12 months. The intern will support lead generation efforts across the Africa and Turkey region, which spans approximately 54 countries, while also assisting with administrative tasks such as preparing quotations after Bills of Materials (BOMs) are finalized. The role provides valuable exposure to sales processes, applications solutions, and international business environments, offering mentorship, networking opportunities, and professional growth within Oracle’s dynamic and inclusive workplace.

Responsibilities

• Assist in lead generation activities, including pre- and post-event follow-ups and campaign support
• Support the sales team with the distribution of health check information to clients
• Assist in preparing and issuing quotations once BOMs are finalized
• Provide administrative support to the Applications Unlimited Sales team
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams across Africa and Turkey to ensure timely execution of tasks

Qualifications

• Minimum requirement: Bachelor’s Degree in Sales & Marketing or ICT-related fields
• Desirable qualification: Honours Degree in Sales & Marketing or ICT-related fields
• Basic understanding of ERP, CRM, or HCM solutions
• Strong telephone etiquette and professional communication skills
• Fluency in English is required, while Portuguese and French are advantageous
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Demonstrates a learning mindset with adaptability to new challenges and environments
